Album Info:So, about 11am the Herzog MPM 38 rolled south at speed. I jumped into the 'Burb to chase but Texas DOT is resurfacing the highway at Normangee, so I got stymied. I turned around and went home. About an hour later, I hear him calling mileposts as he came north.. Sure enough he was making his way back torwards me picking up debris, brush, and railroad ties from the right of way. As he was just creeping along for the claw operator to do his work, this gave me the opportunity to easily get ahead of him and shoot from each crossing varying the shots with differing curve perspectives. A slow speed chase if you will. And no, Al Cowlings wasn't driving. 30 minutes chasing, and never got further than 3 miles of my home, LOL! Unfortunately it is November and I was shooting into the almost winter sun when facing south, sorry. Still, it's a treat to see this in operation.
