Album Info:Traffic was an absolute nightmare, with railfans, the non-railfan public that turned out to see it, farm tractors working the cottonfields, and a slow moving oversize load on the two lane FM50. This was as I expected, so I bypassed Bryan and College Station and headed directly to the Navasota River Bridge. I saw someone else's shots of 4014 on it back in 2019, and I wanted the location. I had calculated the sun to be on left flank, had she departed on time. That 80 minute delay was just enough to give me the sun dead overhead with no side illumination, or as the screeners at Railpricks reject a photo for "High Sun". I did my best. Getting into Navasota was a nightmare as the streets were blocked off and those not trying to see the locomotive up close were funneled around it. I originally was going to go to 10th Street, but no dice. So I made for mid yard at foot of Teague Street. Good location, but again noon high sun.
